09A Temporally Coherent X-ray Diffraction

Description

09A is designed for hard X-ray scattering to study the static and dynamic structure behaviors of crystalline materials using a 9-circle diffractometer. Surface, interface, and bulk structure of epitaxial films and multilayers, composition and strain profile of epitaxial films, ordered structures (lattice, charge, and spin) of bulk crystalline materials and their phase transitions, dynamic behavior of crystalline materials upon external stimulation (pump and probe) in tens of ps to ms scale, and X-ray physics are the main themes of research.
